Quanta Owes $57M In Disk Patent Case: Judge

Law360, New York (January 7, 2010, 3:58 PM EST) -- A federal judge has tacked on an additional award to a $52 million jury verdict in favor of Japan-based LaserDynamics Inc., after the jury's finding that Quanta Computer Inc. infringed a patent covering computer technology for disk recognition and the court's rejection of Quanta’s inequitable conduct defense.
