VTech, Motorola Settle Cordless Phone Patent Case

Law360, New York (January 08, 2010, 3:13 PM ET) -- Motorola Inc. and VTech Communications Inc. have agreed to settle a case in which Motorola accused VTech of infringing six patents related to cordless phone technology.

Judge David Folsom of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas granted a joint motion Thursday to stay the case pending the satisfaction of certain conditions of the settlement agreement and license agreement. The parties said they would seek to dismiss the case within 30 days.
