Skadden Lawyer's Bush Atty Husband Beat Her: Police

Law360, New York (January 08, 2010, 5:18 PM ET) -- An attorney who worked for both Bush administrations has been accused of assaulting his wife, who works as counsel in the energy regulation and litigation practice group at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP.

John M. Farren, 57, was arraigned Thursday in Norwalk Superior Court of Connecticut after police arrested him on suspicion of strangulation and attempted murder. New Canaan, Conn., police said he assaulted his 43-year-old wife, who was identified by the Wall Street Journal as Skadden attorney Mary Margaret Farren.
