Vt. State Employees Sue For Overtime Pay

Law360, New York (January 11, 2010, 1:27 PM EST) -- State employees have brought a putative class action against Vermont under the Fair Labor Standards Act, claiming the state has failed to provide overtime pay to higher-grade employees in an effort to curb costs.

On Thursday, 33 state employees filed suit in the Washington County Superior Court in Montpelier, Vt., against Vermont, the state's Agency of Administration and Secretary of Administration Neale Lunderville.
