Fed. Circ. Deals Finisar New Blow In DirecTV Case

Law360, New York (January 8, 2010, 6:34 PM EST) -- More than a year after voiding a $78 million jury verdict for Finisar Corp. in its case against DirecTV Group Inc., a federal appeals court handed the high-speed voice, video and data company a new blow Friday, affirming a judge's ruling that its electronic programming guide patents are invalid.
