High Court Won't Hear Calif. Energy Crisis Appeal

Law360, New York (January 11, 2010, 6:23 PM ET) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday denied a petition for certiorari from Puget Sound Energy Inc. and other petitioners in a case in which an appeals court ordered the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to reconsider its decision not to award refunds for purchases during the Western U.S. energy crisis of 2000 and 2001.
