Supreme Court Won't Hear Amway Antitrust Case

Law360, New York (January 11, 2010, 2:01 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to hear an appeal of a ruling that held that Amway Corp. did not unfairly restrict competition among the individual contractors that distribute its products.

The high court on Monday denied a petition for certiorari by Nitro Distributing Inc. and other former distributors of Amway business marketing materials, which were seeking review of a May ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
