Atlantic China Welding Let Out Of Lincoln ITC Case

Law360, New York (January 12, 2010, 1:15 PM EST) -- An administrative law judge of the U.S. International Trade Commission has preliminarily agreed to let Atlantic China Welding Consumables Inc. out of an investigation over bulk welding wire equipment patents.

Judge Robert K. Rogers Jr. issued the order Monday, agreeing with a move by plaintiffs Lincoln Electric Co. and sister company Lincoln Global Inc. to terminate the investigation they initiated into whether Atlantic sold bulk wire containers in the U.S. that infringed Lincoln's patents.
