ConAgra Asks To Strip Suits From Peanut Butter MDL

Law360, New York (January 12, 2010, 4:04 PM EST) -- ConAgra Foods Inc. has asked a federal judge to strip dozens of individual plaintiffs who allegedly failed to comply with the court's discovery and case management orders from multidistrict product liability litigation over the company's salmonella-contaminated peanut butter.

The food conglomerate asked for an order booting three dozen of the roughly 300 plaintiffs in the case in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia on Monday.
