Judge Nixes $28M Deal In Nationwide Car Rental Suit

Law360, New York (January 12, 2010, 1:24 PM EST) -- A federal judge has refused to approve a proposed $27.6 million settlement in a class action accusing Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. of terminating policyholders' car rental benefits too soon after auto accidents, finding that the parties still have a substantial disagreement.
