KBC To Battle US Philips Over $2.6M Account

Law360, New York (January 13, 2010, 6:22 PM EST) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has vacated a lower court ruling that granted KBC Bank NV the rights to $2.6 million in funds transferred to it by the defendant in an underlying patent infringement suit eventually won by plaintiff U.S. Philips Corp.
