Lincoln Abusing ITC Resources In Wire Spat: Sidergas

Law360, New York (January 15, 2010, 3:25 PM ET) -- Sidergas SpA has rebuffed discovery requests by Lincoln Electric Co. in a patent dispute over imported bulk welding wire containers, saying Lincoln has posed more questions than allowed and is abusing the resources of the U.S. International Trade Commission.

Sidergas filed its response Thursday to Lincoln's motion to compel interrogatories in the case before the ITC, saying the plaintiff filed seven discovery motions instead of making intensive good-faith efforts to resolve disagreements over discovery before going to the court for help.
