Law360, New York (January 19, 2010, 4:19 PM ET) -- Citing a settlement, the U.S. International Trade Commission has closed the book on a patent dispute between Eastman Kodak Co. and South Korea-based LG Electronics Inc. over digital camera technology.
The ITC issued a determination Friday terminating the investigation due to a settlement and licensing agreement the companies reached in December.
According to a statement by LG and Kodak, the settlement gives each company access to the other's patent portfolio and is royalty-bearing to Kodak.
