Boston Scientific Stent Patent Suit Moved To NJ

Law360, New York (January 19, 2010, 7:17 PM ET) -- A federal judge on Tuesday denied motions by Wyeth and Cordis Corp. to dismiss a declaratory action brought against them by Boston Scientific Corp. over a patent for drug-coated stents.

Judge Patrick Schiltz of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota declined to dismiss the case but awarded the defendants the consolation prize of a transfer to New Jersey, where they have lodged a similar suit against the plaintiff.
