Movers Antitrust MDL Stayed For Immunity Appeal

Law360, New York (January 21, 2010, 2:42 PM EST) -- The federal judge overseeing multidistrict litigation accusing the American Moving and Storage Association Inc. and others of a fuel surcharge price-fixing conspiracy stayed the case Thursday, after an appeals court decided to hear the defendants' challenge of an order that they are not entitled to antitrust immunity.

Judge David C. Norton of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina signed an order granting the parties' joint motion for a stay pending resolution of the interlocutory appeal.
