ILOR Appeals Attorneys' Fees In IP Spat With Google

Law360, New York (January 22, 2010, 2:34 PM EST) -- Software company iLOR LLC has asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit to review a district court ruling awarding Google Inc. nearly $700,000 in attorneys' fees and costs for its defense of iLOR's patent infringement suit over a pop-up display toolbar.

In a brief motion lodged in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky Thursday, iLOR gave notice of the appeal, without providing any grounds or additional information. Representatives for the company did not respond to requests for comment Friday....
