Law360, New York (January 25, 2010, 6:31 PM ET) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission's Office of Unfair Import Investigations has weighed in on a Section 337 probe into coaxial cable connectors, saying the commission should reverse a noninfringement ruling in the case.
The OUII filed a brief Friday with the ITC, arguing that the commission should overturn an administrative law judge's finding that Windsor, Conn.-based Gem Electronics Inc. and its Taiwanese supplier, Fu-Ching Technical Industry Co. Ltd., did not infringe a coaxial cable connector patent held by PPC Inc.
