SanDisk Drops 2 Rivals From Flash Memory IP Spat

Law360, New York (January 25, 2010, 12:14 PM EST) -- SanDisk Corp. has let competitors MemoSun Inc. and Payton Technology Corp. off the hook in its patent infringement suit over flash memory technology, as the case continues to shed defendants.

MemoSun and Payton have been dismissed from the case without prejudice and without costs, according to two voluntary stipulations to dismiss the parties filed by SanDisk on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.
