High Court Won't Hear Inequitable Conduct Patent Feud

Law360, New York (January 25, 2010, 2:59 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday denied a request from Patent Enforcement Team LLC to consider a mixed ruling that invalidated its patent for road rumble strips and ordered a new trial on allegations of inequitable conduct.

In a single-line order, the high court denied PET's petition for a writ of certiorari in its long-running dispute with textile maker Dickson Industries Inc.
