EEOC Gains Unrestricted Access To Aerotek Employees

Law360, New York (January 26, 2010, 2:19 PM EST) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has won a bid to allow its investigators unsupervised access to recruiters at Aerotek Inc., an employment agency under investigation for allegedly discriminating against Mexican workers.

Aerotek had allegedly told its Chicago-area recruiters they could speak to EEOC investigators only with Aerotek corporate counsel present, but relented under EEOC pressure, the commission said in an announcement Monday.

The resolution came after the EEOC filed for a preliminary injunction from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois....
