Wis. Senate Passes Ban On BPA In Children's Products

Law360, New York (January 27, 2010, 4:41 PM EST) -- The Wisconsin Senate has unanimously approved a bill that would ban the use of bisphenol A in children's bottles and cups, making the state the latest to take action against the controversial chemical.

The BPA-Free Kids Act, as the bill is known, passed the state Senate Tuesday. The action now will move to the state Assembly, where a companion bill is pending.
