Mayer Brown Grows Energy Group With New Partner

Law360, New York (January 27, 2010, 7:10 PM ET) -- Mayer Brown LLP has continued the strategic growth of its energy practice, bringing on former Thompson & Knight LLP partner Jose Valera to work on transactions and contracts for oil and gas companies in Latin America.

He is the third partner Mayer Brown has hired at its Houston-based global energy practice in the last eight months, the firm said Tuesday.
