Cephalon To Buy Swiss Drugmaker Mepha For $590M

Law360, New York (February 01, 2010, 1:58 PM ET) -- Cephalon Inc. has agreed to pay about $590 million (622.5 million Swiss francs) for the privately held Swiss pharmaceutical company Mepha AG, the companies announced Monday.

The companies anticipate that the deal will close within the next 12 weeks, pending certain closing conditions and clearing antitrust hurdles, they announced in a joint statement.
