SCO Slander Claim Slimmed In Unix Rights Suit

Law360, New York (February 01, 2010, 6:39 PM ET) -- In an ongoing dispute over the ownership of the copyright for the Unix source code, a federal judge has slimmed The SCO Group Inc.’s claim for slander of title and denied computer infrastructure company Novell Inc.’s request to set aside a judgment that Novell was not entitled to certain license-related royalties.

Judge Ted Stewart of the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah signed both orders on Thursday.
