Blockbuster Users Win Bid To Rejoin DVD Rental MDL

Law360, New York (February 02, 2010, 5:59 PM ET) -- Blockbuster Inc. customers who accused Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Netflix Inc. of colluding in the market for online DVD rentals have won permission to amend their claims and rejoin the litigation.

Judge Phyllis J. Hamilton of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California agreed Friday to let the plaintiffs amend their complaint based on facts obtained through discovery after oral argument on the defendants' motion to dismiss.
