DOJ Doesn't Have To Turn Over Micron Docs: Judge

Law360, New York (February 2, 2010, 3:43 PM EST) -- A federal judge has refused to let the plaintiffs in a securities class action against Micron Technology Inc. have access to documents related to an antitrust investigation of the company, saying disclosure of the information could harm the U.S. Department of Justice's leniency program.

In an opinion Monday, Judge Gladys Kessler of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia refused to compel the disclosure of the information, beating back a bid by the plaintiffs in an Idaho-based lawsuit.
