FERC Seeks $316M In FY2011 Budget Proposal

Law360, New York (February 2, 2010, 6:00 PM EST) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is seeking $315.6 million for its fiscal year 2011 budget, an increase of $17.6 million from its estimated budget for the current fiscal year.

It will be at least the second year in a row that the agency — which released its budget request Monday — has sought to add depth to its coffers. Its budget estimate for fiscal year 2010 is about $16 million higher than what the agency spent in fiscal year 2009.
