Law360, New York (February 03, 2010, 12:15 PM ET) -- A federal judge on Wednesday signed off on a request from Honeywell International Inc. to drop its patent infringement suit against Philips Lumileds Lighting Co., the sole remaining defendant in the dispute over light-emitting diode technology.
Magistrate Judge Charles Everingham IV of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas granted Honeywell's motion to dismiss the suit with prejudice, effectively bringing an end to litigation that dates back to 2007.
