Panasonic Settles In Saxon Telecom Patent Case

Law360, New York (February 4, 2010, 1:51 PM EST) -- Panasonic Corp. has reached a settlement in patent-holding company Saxon Innovations LLC's suit accusing a number of electronics companies of infringing four patents related to communications technology.

In a joint motion Wednesday, Panasonic and Saxon asked the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas to dismiss all claims and counterclaims in the case.

The motion asks the court to dismiss Saxon's claims with prejudice and Panasonic's counterclaims without prejudice. Further details of the settlement were not disclosed, and attorneys for the parties were not...
