Aleris Plan Aims For Mid-2010 Exit From Ch. 11

Law360, New York (February 08, 2010, 4:42 PM ET) -- Aluminum products and recycling firm Aleris International Inc. has filed a reorganization plan that would see it emerge as a privately held venture and says it is poised to emerge from Chapter 11 protection by the middle of 2010.

The company, whose U.S. operations are based in Ohio, said its plan, filed Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, had substantial support from key creditors.
