Jenny Craig Settles Weight Watchers Suit Over Ads

Law360, New York (February 05, 2010, 6:56 PM ET) -- Jenny Craig Inc. has settled a false advertising suit filed by Weight Watchers International Inc. and will halt an advertising campaign that Weight Watchers claimed was deceptive.

The companies said Friday that they had reached a deal in a Lanham Act suit that Weight Watchers filed Jan. 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
