SanDisk Axes Flash Memory Spat With Phison, Others

Law360, New York (February 08, 2010, 12:50 PM ET) -- A federal judge has approved a settlement agreement between SanDisk Corp. and Phison Electronics Corp. as defendants continue to drop away from SanDisk's suit, which accused dozens of companies of infringing its patents for flash memory technology.

Judge Barbara B. Crabb on Friday granted a stipulation of dismissal without prejudice between SanDisk and lead plaintiff Phison in two linked cases in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.

Both sides agreed to cover their own costs and attorneys' fees, according to the order....
