Reuters Wrongly Cut Pay, Muzzled Tweets: Union

Law360, New York (February 5, 2010, 6:45 PM EST) -- The Newspaper Guild of New York has accused Thomson Reuters Corp. of neglecting to negotiate with the union before cutting the pay of unionized workers and imposing a policy barring workers from bashing the media giant on Twitter.

On Friday, the Guild announced that it had filed a claim against Thomson Reuters with the National Labor Relations Board alleging the media company made illegal pay cuts that will reduce workers' salaries by an average of 10 percent.
