Judge Nixes Invalidity Verdict On Inline Internet Patents

Law360, New York (February 8, 2010, 4:47 PM EST) -- A magistrate judge has overturned a jury verdict finding Inline Connection Corp.'s patents for Internet access over telephone lines invalid, but left in place the finding that EarthLink Inc. did not infringe the patents.

Magistrate Judge Mary Pat Thynge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware on Friday granted Inline's motion for judgment as a matter of law on the invalidity of its patents.
