EA To Pay Circuit City $5.2M To Settle Resale Dispute

Law360, New York (February 08, 2010, 2:59 PM ET) -- Electronic Arts Inc. has agreed to pay bankrupt retailer Circuit City Stores Inc. $5.2 million to settle a dispute over a resale agreement between the companies.

Pursuant to a court order granting the debtors the right to enter certain settlements without approval, the parties submitted notice Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia announcing the deal and giving other entities until Feb. 19 to file objections.
