Rohm & Haas Bests Insurer's Bid For Reimbursement

Law360, New York (February 9, 2010, 6:10 PM EST) -- A federal judge has dismissed an insurer's claims for reimbursement from Rohm and Haas Co. and Morton International Inc. for defense and settlement costs stemming from four separate lawsuits over asbestos and chemical exposure and an allegedly tainted landfill.

Judge Gene E. K. Pratter of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on Friday granted the defendants' bid to dismiss in part Utica Mutual Insurance Co.'s first amended complaint.
