Liberty Gets A Crack At $12M SEC, Gen Re Deal

Law360, New York (February 10, 2010, 12:46 PM EST) -- A federal judge has allowed Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. to intervene in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s settled $12.2 million fraud enforcement action against General Re Corp., to give Liberty a chance to take a bite out of the settlement as an alleged victim of the fraud.
