Juniper Strikes $169M Deal In Backdating Action

Law360, New York (February 11, 2010, 12:34 PM EST) -- Information technology company Juniper Networks Inc. has agreed to pay $169 million to settle a class action over stock options backdating led by the New York City Pension Funds.

New York City Comptroller John C. Liu said Wednesday that the tentative deal must still be approved by the pension funds' trustees and by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, where the lawsuit is pending.
