Apple, Google Want Web Patent Suit Moved To Calif.

Law360, New York (February 11, 2010, 6:33 PM ET) -- Apple Inc., Google Inc. and 10 other defendants targeted in Eolas Technologies Inc.’s patent infringement suit over interactive Web site technology are pushing for the case to be moved from Texas to California.

The defendants put in a transfer motion Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, arguing that most of the key parties and witnesses are located in or near Silicon Valley and that the case would be better suited in the Northern District of California.
