Bi-Lo Creditors Fight Bid to Retain Consultant

Law360, New York (February 11, 2010, 2:02 PM ET) -- Creditors of bankrupt Southern supermarket chain Bi-Lo LLC have objected to its request to retain Valuation Research Corp. as an “ordinary course of business” professional.

Bi-Lo’s official committee of unsecured creditors filed an objection Wednesday urging the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of South Carolina not to approve its motion to retain and compensate financial advisory firm VRC as an ordinary course professional.
