2nd Circ. Boots NY Title Insurance Price-Fixing Suit

Law360, New York (February 11, 2010, 5:49 PM EST) -- A federal appeals court has shot down a group of New York title insurance buyers' appeal of its dismissed putative class action alleging the largest title insurers in the state conspired to fix the prices of their policies, the latest victory for the insurers out of roughly a dozen similar cases filed in recent years.
