Abercrombie Fights Order To Reveal Litigation Report

Law360, New York (February 12, 2010, 2:00 PM ET) -- Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is objecting to a magistrate judge's order requiring the retailer to give shareholders in a securities class action a report it commissioned analyzing derivative claims against its directors.

The company argues that the report is protected under work product and attorney-client privilege and should remain sealed until the securities case is over, according to an objection filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. It also has filed a motion to stay the judge's order.
