Radian's $4.2M Claims Against NM College Survive

Law360, New York (February 12, 2010, 1:03 PM EST) -- Radian Asset Assurance Inc.'s pursuit of nearly $4.2 million in principal and interest stemming from a 2006 bond offering on behalf of the College of Santa Fe can continue following a federal judge's denial of the college's motion to dismiss.

In a ruling Thursday, Judge James O. Browning of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico ruled that the College of Santa Fe failed to prove that Radian waived its right to collect the nearly $4.2 million.
