Convicted Airline Execs Hit With Price-Fixing Suits

Law360, New York (February 16, 2010, 4:35 PM ET) -- Benchmark Export Services, FTS International Express Inc. and other shipping companies are suing two convicted former airline executives from Qantas Airways Ltd. and Martinair for conspiring to fix surcharges given to air freight customers.

Seven companies filed class actions on Friday against former Qantas Vice President Bruce McCaffrey in U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and former Martinair Vice President Franciscus Johannes de Jong in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
