Appeals Court Upholds Ruling In Retaliation Case

Law360, New York (December 13, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- An appeals court upheld a district court’s ruling Tuesday in an employment suit claiming violations of the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and ERISA.

Carlos Csicsmann, a former employee of management and technology consulting firm American Management Services Inc., claimed in his suit that his employers did not offer him an equivalent job after he took medical leave, labeled him as disabled and retaliated against him.
