Toyota's Troubles Deepen With Possible Corolla Recall

Law360, New York (February 17, 2010, 3:50 PM ET) -- Toyota Motor Corp. is reportedly reviewing complaints of power steering problems with its popular Corolla model to determine whether a recall is necessary, just weeks after recalling more than 2.3 million cars in the U.S. because of unintended acceleration.

The latest headache for Toyota came when the company's executive in charge of quality control, Shinichi Sasaki, revealed Wednesday that the auto giant is examining about 100 complaints about power steering in the best-selling Corolla, the Associated Press reported.
