Freescale Deal Clears Way For $750M Bond Sale

Law360, New York (February 19, 2010, 5:40 PM ET) -- Freescale Semiconductor Inc. reportedly has reached a settlement with a group of secured creditors who claimed the chip maker diluted the value of their holdings during a refinancing, freeing the way for the company to complete a $750 million bond offering.

A clerk informed Judge Charles E. Ramos of the New York County Supreme Court's Commercial Division of the settlement Friday, Dow Jones reported. The clerk also reportedly added that the case had been adjourned until July.
