EEOC, Bimbo Ordered To Try To Resolve Race Suit

Law360, New York (February 19, 2010, 4:34 PM EST) -- A federal judge has ordered Bimbo Bakeries USA Inc. into a 60-day huddle with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to try to resolve a racial harassment lawsuit the agency brought on behalf of black employees of the world's largest baker.

Judge Sylvia H. Rambo's ruling, issued Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, stayed the case until April 16 and ordered the parties to engage in a good faith effort to resolve the claims.
