Law360, New York (February 19, 2010, 6:59 PM ET) -- Despite objections from plaintiff AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP, a federal judge has adopted a magistrate judge's ruling that the drugmaker's patent infringement lawsuit against one defendant, Apotex Inc., over the cholesterol medication Crestor should be moved to Florida.

Judge Joseph J. Farnan Jr. of U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware said on Friday that he agreed with a Dec. 11 report finding that the Delaware court lacked personal jurisdiction over Apotex and that claims against the defendant should be transferred to the U.S. District Court...
