Cequint Slams Cdyne Over Caller ID Software

Law360, New York (February 23, 2010, 1:06 PM EST) -- Cequint Inc. has accused rival communications technology provider Cdyne Corp. of infringing two patents and a trademark covering popular caller identification software.

The complaint, lodged Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, alleges Cdyne has willfully infringed two patents covering Cequint’s City ID product and has deliberately promoted its own competing caller ID software by mimicking the City ID mark.
